  • This web service allows viewing datasets from INSPIRE Contour Lines, and DTM.

  • This web service allows viewing datasets from CORINE Land Cover-2018-Belgium.

  • The product is made of 6 "high resolution layers" covering all the Belgian territory as part of a European-wide coverage. The 6 layers concern 6 distinct themes: Imperviousness, Tree cover density, Forest type, Permanent grasslands, Wetlands and Permanent waterbodies. The 6 layers were produced by an automatic classification based on satellite images and collateral data and achieved by private companies (EEA service providers), and they were verified and enhanced by Belgium. At the Belgian level, verification and enhancements were made by AGIV for the northern part and SPW for the southern part. The NGI coordinated the project.

  • The eTOD digital terrain model (DTM) is a homogeneous and regular point grid indicating the elevation of the ground level in order to make a model of its surface. This DTM is obtained by resampling raw altimetric source data from the Flemish and Walloon Regions, grouped in Lambert 72 and with a resolution of 1 m; as well as data obtained internally by direct photogrammetric recording of structure points and lines based on the most recent aerial photographs for all areas not covered by regional data. For this DTM, the resolution and coordinate reference system are used as defined by the eTOD specifications.

  • This web service allows viewing the NGI data which comply with the INSPIRE specifications. It gives an overview of the INSPIRE data which are for sale.

  • INSPIRE compliant discovery service for geographic information made available by the Belgian Federal Government.

  • This web service allows viewing/downloading datasets from Electricity network

  • This web service allows the visualization of altimetry data. More specifically, it allows to visualize the National Geographic Institute's digital terrain model and the contours associated with it. This service is compliant with the INSPIRE specifications.

  • This dataset contains the orthophotos of the floodable areas along the Meuse, the Vesdre and the Demer. These orthophotos are digital aerial photographs, taken by Hansa Luftbild following the floods of July 2021, in which the systematic distortions due to the central projection, relief and the not always perfectly vertical axis of shooting have been corrected. The orthophoto thereby obtained is metrically more accurate than an ordinary aerial photograph and is highly valuable as basic information. The resolution of the data is 6.5 cm (4 cm above the Hoëgne).

  • The European Urban Atlas provides reliable, inter-comparable, high-resolution land use and land cover data for 800 Functional Urban Area (FUA) for the 2012 reference year in EEA39 countries. This datasets contains the FUA for Belgium (Antwerpen, Brugge, Bruxelles_Brussel, Charleroi, Gent, Kortrijk, Leuven, Liege, Mons, Namur and Oostende).
