The DTM is a homogeneous and regular point grid indicating the height of the ground level in order to model its surface. The DTM 1m is achieved by interpolating in Lambert 2008 source data in Lambert 72 and at a 1m-resolution from the Flemish and Brussels regions, and by adding Lambert 2008 data at 1m-resolution from the Walloon Region. The DTM 5m has an additional source, namely drawn structure lines and points adapted during systematic and continuous update by photogrammetric surveys. The DTM 20m is obtained by resampling of the DTM 1m.

This dataset is part of the 2018 Belgian submission for the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) linked to descriptor 1, criterion 2. The Raja clavata dataset describes the results of the Offshore Beam Trawl Surveys (BTS) in the Belgian part of the North Sea (BPNS) between 2010 and 2017. Occurrences of Raja Clavata, along with dates and locations, are reported. The codes used in the attached file are based on the ICES DATRAS (Database of Trawl Surveys) standard. The seabirds dataset describes the density of seabirds (N birds/km) observed in the BPNS between 1987 and 2016 (three surveys a year).

The data set presents in the form of polygons the breakdown of Belgium in almost 20,000 statistical sectors. The statistical sector is the basic territorial unit resulting from the subdivision of the territory of municipalities by STATBEL since 1970 for the dissemination of its statistics at a finer level than the municipal level. A statistical sector cannot extend over two municipalities and any point in the municipal territory is part of one and the same statistical sector. The 1970 and 1981 versions are shown in analogue format while the 2001, 2011, 2018, 2019 etc. versions are available in digital vector format. The files can be linked to the data on population, housing and disposable income on the website of Statbel.

This dataset contains a matrix of distances between all Belgian municipality centres as defined in the AdminVector product. The distance is in km and is rounded to an integer.

Distribution of real estate assets - Legal persons corresponds to the dataset relating to the distribution of real estate assets owned by legal entities such as recorded by the FPS Finance for tax purposes. This dataset is composed of eight classes. The first class mentions, at national level, for each cadastral income bracket, the number of legal persons grouped together by economic activity with real estate capital valued in the relevant bracket as well as the total and median cadastral income of the parcels held by these entities. The assessment of the cadastral income takes into account the shares actually held. The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, districts, municipalities, land register divisions and statistical sectors. The last class includes this information at the level of the countries for the legal entities which are not settled in Belgium but wich are nevertheless reigstred at the Carrefour Banque of the Entreprises. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

Owner occupants corresponds to the dataset relating to persons domiciled in a property over which they, or a member of their family, exercise a right in rem such as recorded by the FPS Finance for registration purposes. This dataset is composed of seven classes. The first class mentions, at national level, for each age-gender combination, by type of right in rem, the number of natural persons having such a right on their home. The lack of right in rem corresponds here to a fictitious right in rem in order to identify individuals who do not have rights on their home. The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, districts, municipalities, land register divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.
