Points Of Interest - Natural elements contains point elements relating to nature, namely remarkable trees and underground cavities in Belgium.

The Royal Observatory of Belgium maintains several continuously observing GNSS tracking stations in Belgium. The stations are also belonging to EUREF Permanent Network (EPN) used to maintain the ETRS89 and the observation data are available to the public through https://doi.org/10.24414/FST8-P256.

The entities included in the dataset represent the physical network in the sense of the Inspire European directive. The dataset comprises several classes and is in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications. The Wetland class represents poorly drained or periodically flooded portions of land, the soil of which is saturated with water but where vegetation is nevertheless able to develop. The StandingWater class represents flooded areas that are, nevertheless, completely surrounded by land.

Points Of Interest - patrimonial elements contains point elements relating to the patrimony, namely (water and wind)mill, (historic, commemoration, fortified) building, historic mound, ice house, castle, kiosk, shoring, non-religious monument, monumental stairs in Belgium.

The data set has been established according to the INSPIRE format. It presents in the form of polygons the breakdown of Belgium in almost 20,000 statistical sectors. The statistical sector is the basic territorial unit resulting from the subdivision of the territory of municipalities by STATBEL since 1970 for the dissemination of its statistics at a finer level than the municipal level. A statistical sector cannot extend over two municipalities and any point in the municipal territory is part of one and the same statistical sector. The 1970 and 1981 versions are shown in analogue format while the 2001, 2011, 2018, 2019 etc. versions are available in digital vector format. The files can be linked to the data on population, housing and disposable income on the website of Statbel.

Buildings is the INSPIRE 2D vector data set of the "Constructions" layer originated from the Top10vector product of the National Geographic Institute in Belgium . It includes the "Building" features and the "OtherConstruction" features in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications.

'Top10Vector – Constructions' is the vector dataset of constructions in Belgium. The dataset consists of 7 feature types, including those for buildings [CO_constructions] and those for bridges and tunnels [CO_brunnel]. The geometry of buildings can be supplemented with additional point [CO_toweronbuilding] or surface elements [CO_additionalpolygongeometry], which indicate the position of towers or other structures on buildings. Other structures are polygon [CO_particularpolyconstruction], linear [CO_particularlineconstruction] or point [CO_particularpointconstruction] feature types. 'Top10Vector – Particular Zones' is the vector dataset covering areas within Belgium that are designated for a specific purpose. This dataset contains just one feature type [ZO_particularzone]. The dataset can be downloaded via the links in 'Access' at the bottom of this page.

This dataset contains a set of Points Of Interest (POI) indicating the location of places of interest in Belgium, collected by NGI. The dataset consists of 97 POI types grouped into 6 classes (natural elements, cult elements, patrimonial elements, elements of general interest, infrastructures, economy). POI types that have a link with the NGI topographic reference data are systematically monitored to ensure consistency between these data. But for other POI types, there is no guarantee of completeness and correctness. These are updated ad hoc when an error or incompleteness is noticed.
