Points Of Interest - Infrastructures interest contains point elements indicating the location of a infrastructure, such as a container depot, incinerator, brunnel (bridges and tunnels), rail traffic, subway access, subway and tram stops, heli- and airport, control tower, light mast, lighthouse, water tower, flashing-lamp, breakwater, harbour area, marina, ship lift, dock, embankment, sluice, stilt structure and water point in Belgium.

Points Of Interest - Elements of general interest contains point elements that are classified as being of general interest, namely embassies, (federal, regional, provincial, municipality) buildings, Govroam, court houses, prisons, police stations, post offices, education, sports buildings and infrastructure, cultural places and centres, libraries and archives, attraction-, recreation-, water- and wildlife parks, camp sites, museum, provincial domains, observatory, observation points, swimming pools, chemist's, crematorium, fire station, civil defence and healthcare in Belgium.

The entities included in the dataset represent the physical network in the sense of the Inspire European directive. The dataset comprises several classes and is in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications. The Wetland class represents poorly drained or periodically flooded portions of land, the soil of which is saturated with water but where vegetation is nevertheless able to develop. The StandingWater class represents flooded areas that are, nevertheless, completely surrounded by land.

The files contain the population characteristics (total, gender and/or age groups) by municipality in Belgium on January 1st, according to the Belgian definition of the population. The Belgian definition does not take into account the 12-months criterion and excludes asylum seekers. The dataset shows in the form of polygons the sand and gravel extraction sites in the Belgian marine areas as defined by the successive marine spatial plans. A 2014 version illustrates the 2014-2020 plan while the 2020 version illustrates the 2020-2026 plan.

'Top10Vector – Constructions' is the vector dataset of constructions in Belgium. The dataset consists of 7 feature types, including those for buildings [CO_constructions] and those for bridges and tunnels [CO_brunnel]. The geometry of buildings can be supplemented with additional point [CO_toweronbuilding] or surface elements [CO_additionalpolygongeometry], which indicate the position of towers or other structures on buildings. Other structures are polygon [CO_particularpolyconstruction], linear [CO_particularlineconstruction] or point [CO_particularpointconstruction] feature types. Police zones corresponds to the dataset of the territorial delimitation of the police areas such as defined by the Royal Decrees of April 28th 2000 in accordance with the law of December 7th 1998 organising an integrated police service. This dataset is composed of two classes. The first class contains the identifiers, names and geometries of the various areas; the second is a class without geometry and corresponds to the table of Belgian municipalities with the police area for each of them. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped shapefiles.

‘Top10Vector – Railway network’ is the dataset of the railway network in Belgium. This dataset includes 3 feature types, namely the railway track segments [RA_railwaytracksegment], railway stops [RA_railwaystop] and railway kilometer markers [RA_railwaykilometremarker]. Top10Vector is a product containing topographical vector data covering the whole of Belgium. It consists of 35 feature types grouped into 8 different topics: ‘Constructions, ‘Particular zones, ‘Land cover and vegetation, ‘High-voltage network, ‘Hydrography’, ‘Local relief’, ‘Railway network’ and ‘Road network’.
