Territorial Divisions is the vectorproduct representing the geographical units of Belgium. The product consists of 16 feature types grouped into 4 topics: ‘AdminVector’, ‘Judicial cantons and arrondissements’, ‘Electoral cantons’ and ‘Postal cantons’. The AdminVector dataset includes the statistical, geographical and administrative units of Belgium. The dataset of the judicial cantons and arrondissements displays the geographical units used for the organisation of the courts. The dataset of the electoral cantons consists of geographical units used for the organisation of elections. The dataset of the postal cantons includes the boundaries of the Belgian postal cantons. The product can be downloaded in its entirety via the links in 'Access' at the bottom of this page. Each of the themes is also available as separate datasets on their own webpage.

‘Top10Vector – Railway network’ is the dataset of the railway network in Belgium. This dataset includes 3 feature types, namely the railway track segments [RA_railwaytracksegment], railway stops [RA_railwaystop] and railway kilometer markers [RA_railwaykilometremarker]. Buildings is the INSPIRE 2D vector data set of the "Constructions" layer originated from the Top10vector product of the National Geographic Institute in Belgium . It includes the "Building" features and the "OtherConstruction" features in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications.

Administrative Units - INSPIRE corresponds to the dataset of the Belgian administrative units that complies with the INSPIRE specifications. This dataset is composed of two classes. The first class contains administrative units and the second class contains administrative boundaries. The class are composed of the following administrative level: Kingdom, Regions, Provinces, and arrondissements, and municipalities. The entire dataset can be downloaded via the ad hoc WFS.

Points Of Interest - Elements of general interest contains point elements that are classified as being of general interest, namely embassies, (federal, regional, provincial, municipality) buildings, Govroam, court houses, prisons, police stations, post offices, education, sports buildings and infrastructure, cultural places and centres, libraries and archives, attraction-, recreation-, water- and wildlife parks, camp sites, museum, provincial domains, observatory, observation points, swimming pools, chemist's, crematorium, fire station, civil defence and healthcare in Belgium.

Points Of Interest - Cult elements contains point elements relating to the cult, namely churchs (anglican, catholic, orthodox, protestant), mosques, synanogues, buddhist temples, chapels, abbeys, priories and other religious buildings or small monuments in Belgium.

This dataset corresponds to the dataset of address points on the Belgian territory. The result is obtained by merging the three regions on the basis of XML files which has been supplied to BOSA for the cooperation agreement BeStAddress. The dataset is freely downloadable.

'Top10Vector - Road network' is the vector dataset of the Belgian road network. It contains five feature types including 3 types of segments: road segments [RO_roadsegment], path segments [RO_pathsegment] and dirt road segments [RO_dirtroadsegment]. In addition, there are two other feature types consisting of point elements, namely kilometre markers [RO_roadkilometremarker] and traffic obstacles [RO_obstruction]. The files contain the population characteristics (total, gender and/or age groups) by statistical sector in Belgium on January 1st, according to the Belgian definition of the population. The Belgian definition does not take into account the 12-months criterion and excludes asylum seekers. The dataset of the electoral cantons represents the geographical unit used for the organization of the elections. The electoral cantons were digitised based on the definitions in the Annex of the Electoral Code, which is managed by the FPS Home Affairs. The dataset consists of a single feature type, namely the boundaries of the electoral cantons [electoralcanton]. This dataset can be downloaded via the links in 'Access' at the bottom of this page.
