The update of this dataset takes place on a multi-year cycle; for each obstacle and for each location, the situation is indicated as applicable at the time of its last update. Based on the horizontal range of an obstacle, it is classified into one of three classes: polygonal obstacle if the smallest rectangular area enclosing the obstacle has a length and width of more than 100 meters; line obstacle if the smallest rectangular area enclosing the obstacle has a length of more than 100 meters, but a width of less than 100 meters; point obstruction in other cases.

This dataset is composed of eight classes. The first class mentions, at national level, for each cadastral income bracket, the number of legal persons grouped together by economic activity with real estate capital valued in the relevant bracket as well as the total and median cadastral income of the parcels held by these entities. The assessment of the cadastral income takes into account the shares actually held. The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, districts, municipalities, land register divisions and statistical sectors. The last class includes this information at the level of the countries for the legal entities which are not settled in Belgium but wich are nevertheless reigstred at the Carrefour Banque of the Entreprises. Owner occupants corresponds to the dataset relating to persons domiciled in a property over which they, or a member of their family, exercise a right in rem such as recorded by the FPS Finance for registration purposes. This dataset is composed of seven classes. The first class mentions, at national level, for each age-gender combination, by type of right in rem, the number of natural persons having such a right on their home. The lack of right in rem corresponds here to a fictitious right in rem in order to identify individuals who do not have rights on their home. The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. This dataset contains the most recent national orthophoto mosaics covering the entire territory of Belgium. Orthophotos are aerial photographs that have been geometrically corrected (orthorectified) to eliminate distortions caused by terrain relief, lens distortion, and camera tilt. Unlike raw aerial imagery, orthophotos have a uniform scale and accurate geometry, making them suitable for cartography, measurements, and visual analysis. This specific dataset always contains the most recent operational orthophoto mosaics, derived from aerial surveys carried out by the Belgian administrative Regions. When the most recent acquisition campaign does not provide full coverage, the dataset is composed of the last one or two campaigns. In the current version of the dataset, the most recent national orthophoto coverage consists of a combination of the 2023 and 2024 campaigns, as the 2024 flight campaign does not provide full coverage of the territory. The national orthophoto coverage is renewed annually. The orthophoto datasets of the Regions are integrated by the National Geographic Institute (NGI) into a single national coverage. Where possible, radiometric corrections are applied to ensure smooth transitions between the data of the Regions. The resulting orthophoto mosaics are georeferenced in the Lambert 2008 coordinate system and tiled according to the MapIndex1 grid. All orthophotos are in colour (RGB). The ground resolution (GSD) is 25 cm in Wallonia and 12.5 cm in Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region. The spatial coverage of this dataset is the entire Belgian territory. The data can be visualized via the corresponding web services (WMS/WMTS). The dataset is INSPIRE-compliant and can be downloaded as compressed JPEG2000 files (JP2) per MapIndex1 tile, with the corresponding world file (.j2w) and metadata describing the extent of the tiles.
