  • The Royal Observatory of Belgium maintains several continuously observing GNSS tracking stations in Belgium. The stations are also belonging to EUREF Permanent Network (EPN) used to maintain the ETRS89 and the observation data are available to the public through https://doi.org/10.24414/FST8-P256.

  • Buildings is the INSPIRE 2D vector data set of the "Constructions" layer originated from the Top10vector product of the National Geographic Institute in Belgium . It includes the "Building" features and the "OtherConstruction" features in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications.

  • Top10Vector – Hydrography is the data set of the Belgian hydrography. This data set includes six classes. First class: waterway kilometre markers of the Belgian navigable waterways. Second class: watercourse surfaces. Third class: watercourse segments. Fourth class: water points, which means points where the water arrives at the surface or disappears into the subsoil. Fifth class: wetlands, which means zones where the soil is saturated or regularly flooded. Sixth class: water surfaces. This data set can be bought via the corresponding hyperlink.

  • The dataset shows in the form of polygons the sand and gravel extraction sites in the Belgian marine areas as defined by the successive marine spatial plans. A 2014 version illustrates the 2014-2020 plan while the 2020 version illustrates the 2020-2026 plan.

  • The data set presents in the form of polygons the breakdown of Belgium in almost 20,000 statistical sectors. The statistical sector is the basic territorial unit resulting from the subdivision of the territory of municipalities by STATBEL since 1970 for the dissemination of its statistics at a finer level than the municipal level. A statistical sector cannot extend over two municipalities and any point in the municipal territory is part of one and the same statistical sector. The 1970 and 1981 versions are shown in analogue format while the 2001, 2011, 2018 and 2019 versions are available in digital vector format. The files can be linked to the data on population, housing and disposable income on the website of Statbel.

  • This dataset contains the Belgian judicial districts and cantons, within the boundaries established by the annexes of the Judicial Code. Each judicial canton has a justice of the peace, which is also included in this dataset.

  • The entities included in the dataset represent the physical network in the sense of the Inspire European directive. The dataset comprises several classes and is in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications. The Wetland class represents poorly drained or periodically flooded portions of land, the soil of which is saturated with water but where vegetation is nevertheless able to develop. The StandingWater class represents flooded areas that are, nevertheless, completely surrounded by land.

  • The entities included in the dataset represent the Belgian rail transport network in the sense of the Inspire European directive. The dataset comprises several classes and is in accordance with the INSPIRE specifications. The RailLink class represents, in a linear manner, all of the rail links between each pair of dots for the network considered. The RailwayStationNode class represents occasionally all of the stations located along the network. In addition to this are two classes without geometry. The RailwatType class ranks the segments according to the type of rail transport for which they were designed. All the segments for this dataset belong to the train category. The "RailwaytElectrification" class lists the segments according to whether they are electrified or not.

  • Emergency rescue zones corresponds to the dataset of the territorial delimitation of the emergency areas such as defined by the Royal Decree of February 2nd 2009 determining the territorial delimitation of the emergency areas in accordance with the law of May 15th 2007 on civil protection. This dataset is composed of two classes. The first class contains the identifiers, names and geometries of the various areas; the second is a class without geometry and corresponds to the table of Belgian municipalities with the emergency area for each of them. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped shapefiles.

  • Top10Vector – Rail network is the data set of the railway network in Belgium. This data set includes three classes. First class: rail network kilometre markers. Second class: railway stop. Third class: railway track segments. This data set can be bought via the corresponding hyperlink.
