The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, arrondissements, municipalities, cadastral divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

  • Owners' origin - Natural persons corresponds to the dataset describing the origin of the natural persons holders of real rights over immovable properties located in Belgium according to the municipality of residence for residents and according to the country or territory of residence for the non-residents. This dataset is made up of seven classes. The first class shows, at national level, for each type of property, the total number of parcels, the number of parcels held by holders from each Belgian municipality and the number of parcels held by holders from each country or territory. The number of parcels takes into account the shares actually held. The second class shows this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, arrondissements, municipalities, land register divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset is freely downloadable, in the form of zipped CSV files.

  • Characteristics of the cadastral parcels - Rights of natural persons corresponds to the dataset describing the natural persons holding real rights on the parcels such as recorded by the FPS Finance for registration purposes. This dataset is composed of seven classes. The first class shows, at the national level, for each cadastral nature and for each type of real right, the number of parcels, their total cadastral income, as well as the number of parcels on which natural persons of the age and sex concerned hold the concerned real rights. The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, arrondissements, municipalities, cadastral divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

  • Characteristics of the cadastral parcels - Exemption from withholding tax on immovable property corresponds to the dataset describing the parcels exempted from withholding tax on immovable property. The first class shows, at the national level, the number of parcels per exemption category, the total amount of cadastral income of these parcels, their surface area as well as the median cadastral income of each category. The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, arrondissements, municipalities, cadastral divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

  • Mapping plan parcel - statistical sector corresponds to the dataset associating a plan parcel such as defined in article 2 of the Royal Decree of July 30th 2018 with the statistical sector including it. This dataset is composed of a single class mentioning the identifier of the plan parcels as well as the identifier of the statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

  • The number of private households according to official statistics, per administrative unit (region, province, district and municipality) for Wallonia.

  • Characteristics of the cadastral parcels - Condition of the building corresponds to the dataset describing the physical characteristics of the built-on parcels such as recorded by the FPS Finance for tax purposes. This dataset is composed of seven classes. The first class shows, at the national level, for each type of built-on land the total number of parcels as well as the number of parcels meeting various qualitative criteria (such as the number of parcels equipped with central heating, or the number of parcels built before 1900). The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, arrondissements, municipalities, cadastral divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

  • The average household size of private households by administrative unit (region, province, district and municipality) for Wallonia.

This dataset is composed of seven classes. The first class shows, at the national level, for each cadastral nature and for each type of real right, the number of parcels, their total cadastral income, as well as for each category of economic activity, the number of parcels on which real estate companies hold the concerned real rights (i.e. the companies of L class from NACE classification). The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, arrondissements, municipalities, cadastral divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

  • Gridded observational data provides an estimate of the spatial distribution of a meteorological variable based on observations. While instrumental measurements are taken at irregularly distributed stations, gridded data represents the meteorological variable on a predefined regular grid. Gridded observational data is of strong benefit in disciplines applying distributed quantitative models to examine the influence of weather and climate. Gridded data are also very convenient to provide estimations for any specific location of interest for the user. Gridded observational data covering Belgium at a spatial resolution of 5 km (= 1360 pixels) are available for several variables (precipitations, air temperature, sunshine duration, solar radiation, relative humidity and wind speed) as well as different temporal resolutions (daily, monthly, seasonal, annual values as well as long-term climate averages). The gridded database starts in 1961 for most variables and is updated each day with the available observations of the previous day. All grids are then updated for archiving as soon as the data quality control is completed. In addition to the 5km x 5km grids, spatial averages for all each Belgian municipality are also available. This product is not publically available yet.
