RADCLIM is a historical dataset based on weather radar observations that provides gridded accumulated precipitation composites over Belgium and surrounding regions. The data are distributed in ODIM_H5 version 2.2 format. The reported quantity is accumulated precipitation (ACRR) for 5-minute and 1-hour accumulation periods. UTC is used as the time reference, and the timestamp in the filename corresponds to the end of the accumulation period. The dataset is produced on a 700 × 700 grid with 1 km spatial resolution in the Belgian Lambert 2008 projection (Lambert Conformal Conic).

Foreign real estate - Property characteristics corresponds to the dataset of foreign real estate held by belgian taxpayers as declared to the FPS Finance (only the holders of rights allowing the enjoyment of the property are taken into account). This dataset consists of one class. This class includes, for each foreign country or territory, the number of properties in each category, the total cadastral income of these properties, the median cadastral income of each category, as well as the 25 and 75 percentiles of the cadastral income of each category.

The first shows, at national level, by age and sex category, the number of individuals holding a real right that allows enjoyment over foreign property, the total number of foreign properties held by these individuals, and the number of properties by foreign country or territory. The number of properties takes into account the shares actually held. The second class presents this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same for provinces, arrondissements and communes. The dataset is freely downloadable as zipped CSV files.

Beach Litter count data collected across 10 beaches of the Belgian coast in 2023 and 2024 by volunteers of the citizen science association Proper Strand Lopers. One of the key indicators of abundance, composition and trends of litter in the marine environment is the amount on beaches. OSPAR monitors litter on 100m stretches at over 70 beaches in the North-East Atlantic following common monitoring guidelines. The monitoring records litter in 112 predefined litter items in 11 types: Plastic / polystyrene, Metal, Paper and cardboard, Wood, Sanitary waste, Cloth, Rubber, Glass, Pottery/ceramics, Medical waste and Faeces.

This dataset is composed of seven classes. The first class shows, at the national level, for each type of built-on land the total number of parcels as well as the number of parcels meeting various qualitative criteria (such as the number of parcels equipped with central heating, or the number of parcels built before 1900). The second class includes this information at the level of the three regions. The following classes do the same at the level of provinces, arrondissements, municipalities, cadastral divisions and statistical sectors. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped CSV.

Orthophotos are digital aerial photographs in which the systematic distortions caused by the central projection, terrain relief and an image acquisition axis that is not always perfectly vertical have been corrected. The national orthophoto coverage is renewed annually. This view service makes it possible to visualise the national orthophoto mosaics for multiple acquisition campaigns from 2016 onwards for the entire territory of Belgium. A separate layer is published for each available year. In the current version of the service, the series of yearly layers runs from 2016 up to and including 2023, with 2023 being the most recent orthophoto coverage in this view service. For the 2016–2021 campaigns, the orthophotos have a spatial resolution of 25 cm throughout Belgium. From the 2022 campaign onwards, the resolution is 25 cm in Wallonia and 15 cm in Flanders and the Brussels-Capital Region. The view service is directly based on the orthophoto datasets of the Belgian administrative Regions, which are harmonised by NGI into a single national coverage without applying additional radiometric corrections. The orthophoto coverage is provided through this Web Map Service (WMS) and is intended for visualisation and use as a background map.
