This dataset contains the spatial metadata of the complete collection of aerial photos of the National Geographic Institute (NGI), from 1946 to today. The aerial photos themselves are not part of the dataset. The collection comprises more than 100,000 aerial photos. The images are predominantly panchromatic (black and white). From the late 1970s onwards, colour images were also taken, and from the end of 2004 onwards all images were taken in colour. The analogue aerial photos in the collection were scanned in high resolution. More recent aerial photos were captured directly in digital format. This specific dataset includes three layers: the centroids (centre points) of the individual aerial photos, the footprints (the outlines of the area on the ground covered by each photo), and the flight paths of the aircraft used during image acquisition. For each aerial photo, all known metadata is included in the attribute table, such as the acquisition date, the flight and the strip, the dimensions, the scale, the ground resolution, the radiometry (black and white or colour), the coordinates of the centre point, and the camera, lens and film used. This data makes it possible to find out which aerial photos are available for a given location and period, and what the characteristics of each photo are. The data can be consulted via the associated web service (WFS). The aerial photos can be ordered in high resolution via https://shop.ngi.be/nl/luchtfotos/.

The data set contains a seamless polygonal layer representing the land cover in Belgium for the year 2006 and the year 2012. The polygons are spread over 32 classes from the CORINE Land Cover legend which are present un Belgium. The minimum map unit is 25 ha. The conceptual scale is 1:100 000. The data set also contains a polygon layer showing changes of more than 5 ha in the land cover between 2006 and 2012.

This dataset contains the latest version of the borders of the Belgian postal codes, including the "special" postal codes (0612, 1049, 6099,…).

Land register plan - current situation corresponds to the dataset of land register from the reference database for the land register data CadGIS. The land register plan is one of the elements that make up the patrimonial documentation. It is defined as “the graphic representation and assembling on a plan of all the cadastral plan parcels of the Belgian territory”. A plan parcel, such as defined in Article 2 of the Royal Decree of 30 July 2018, is a part of Belgian territory, geographically delimited and identified by the General Administration of Patrimonial Documentation on the land register plan, which corresponds to the ground surface area of one or more patrimonial cadastral parcel(s) (real estate property as mentioned in Article 472 of the 1992 Income Tax Code in respect of which the cadastral income is fixed). This dataset corresponds to the current situation at the time of consultation. It is composed of fourteen geometric layers. The first five are the administrative units, namely the country, the regions, the provinces, the districts and the municipalities. The sixth and seventh layers correspond to the cadastral units, divisions and sections. the eighth layer includes the cadastral blocks, the ninth, the property stones, the tenth, the addresses, the eleventh, the polders and wateringues, the twelfth, the cadastral plan parcels, the thirteenth the buildings managed by the AGDP, and the fourteenth, buildings managed by the regions. The dataset is freely downloadable via the ad hoc WFS.

Natura 2000 (N2K) is a network of core breeding and resting sites for rare and threatened species, as well as for some rare natural habitat types which are protected in their own right. It stretches across all 28 EU countries, both on land and at sea. The aim of the network is to ensure the long-term survival of Europe's most valuable and threatened species and habitats that are listed under the Birds Directive and the Habitats Directive. This dataset contains the sites in Belgium.

This dataset corresponds to the current situation at the time of consultation. It is composed of five geometric classes. The first class corresponds to the whole national territory. The second corresponds to the territory of the three regions, the third to the territory of the provinces, the fourth to the territory of the administrative districts, the fifth to the territory of the municipalities. The dataset is freely downloadable via the ad hoc WFS service.

Riparian zones represent transitional areas occurring between land and freshwater ecosystems, characterised by distinctive hydrology, soil and biotic conditions and strongly influenced by the stream water. They provide a wide range of riparian functions (e.g. chemical filtration, flood control, bank stabilization, aquatic life and riparian wildlife support, etc.) and ecosystem services. The Riparian Zones products will support the objectives of several European legal acts and policy initiatives, such as the EU Biodiversity Strategy to 2020, the Habitats and Birds Directives and the Water Framework Directive. Two complementary product groups provide detailed information on the state and characteristics of riparian zones across Belgium: 1. Land Cover / Land Use (LCLU) 2. Green Linear Elements (GLE)

Cadastral parcels - monthly situation corresponds to the dataset of the monthly situation of the cadastral parcels layer from the Land Register plan. The dataset is composed of two classes. The first class contains the geometries of the cadastral parcels; the second is a class without geometry and corresponds to a code table of the different fiscal situations used in the first class. The dataset can be freely downloaded as a zipped shapefiles.

Emergency rescue zones corresponds to the dataset of the territorial delimitation of the emergency areas such as defined by the Royal Decree of February 2nd 2009 determining the territorial delimitation of the emergency areas in accordance with the law of May 15th 2007 on civil protection. This dataset is composed of two classes. The first class contains the identifiers, names and geometries of the various areas; the second is a class without geometry and corresponds to the table of Belgian municipalities with the emergency area for each of them.
