  • This web service allows viewing ROB datasets. This service is compliant with the INSPIRE specifications.

  • Mapindex is a WMS which allows viewing the regular index grid which has been defined on two levels for the entire Belgian territory. It has been defined in order to allow a zonal geolocation. The present version is a beta version which is submitted to the emergency services. It will evolve to a standard cartographic grid.

  • Govroam is a " wifi roaming " solution. This service offers to the users a simple and secure access to the wireless network of their institution, but also to networks of other participating institutions. A user from an organization that participates in govroam will be able to connect to any wireless access point broadcasting govroam. The data provided here makes it possible to locate these access points.

  • Location of the address points on the Belgian territory. The result is obtained by merging the three regions on the basis of an XML file which has been supplied to BOSA for the BestAdres project.

  • View Service (WMS) for Synoptic observations

  • View Service (WMS) for Alaro over Belgium. All the parameters of the last run of Alaro can be visualized, most of them associated with a custom style.

  • View Service (WMS) for Lidar over Belgium The data are updated regularly. Only the archives of the last two months are available.

  • This service allows the visualization of a mosaic of orthophotos made for the whole Belgian territory. Access is possible through either a Web Map Service (WMS) or a Web Map Tile Service (WMTS, more powerful). Orthophotos are digital aerial photographs that have been adjusted for lens distortion, topography and camera tilt. The orthophotographs are metrically more accurate than common aerial photographs. They are very valuable as reference information and also, for instance, for surveying parcels. The orthophotographs mosaic is created based on digital, colour aerial photographs acquired by the Belgian Regions. It is georeferenced in the Lambert2008 coordinates system. This cover is renewed every year. The orthophotographs have a minimal resolution of 25 cm.

  • This web service allows viewing datasets from CORINE Land Cover-2018-Belgium.

  • The service makes it possible to view the aerial photos with orthorectification taken by Hansa Luftbild at NGI's request following the floods of July 2021 in the areas of the Vesdre, part of the Meuse downstream of Liège and the Demer. The resolution of the original data is 6.5 cm (4 cm above the Hoëgne). The service allows the images to be viewed at a maximum resolution of 25 cm. Orthophotos are digital aerial photographs in which the systematic distortions due to the central projection, relief and the not always perfectly vertical axis of shooting have been corrected. The orthophoto thereby obtained is metrically more accurate than an ordinary aerial photograph and is highly valuable as basic information.
