Explanation

The dataset’s compliance with the technical requirements as defined by the Commission Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010 of 23 November 2010 has not been checked

Statement

The surveillance started in mid-September 2020 for the whole country. Samples are collected every week at each wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). The catchment areas of WWTPs are provided by the Vlaamse Milieumaatschappij (VMM) in Flanders, by the Société Publique de Gestion de l'Eau (SPGE) in Wallonia and by Leefmilieu Brussel/Bruxelles Environnement in Brussels. The catchment areas were redrawn in Wallonia and Brussels to comply with the polygon style used by Flanders.
