The latter corresponds to the main use of the parcel at the time of its last cadastral registration (e.g. house, farm, business, etc.). In 2008, a land use nomenclature was developed on the basis of a joint reflection by the standing conference on territorial development, the SPW Environment and the IWEPS. The cadastral natures were grouped into 16 land use categories. These 16 categories can be grouped together to distinguish between artificial and non-artificial land. This grouping of parcels is based on the work of the European CORINE Land Cover (CLC) project in order to facilitate comparisons with other European regions. Les données d'occupation et d’utilisation du sol utilisées par l’IWEPS pour la Wallonie sont issues du Cadastre belge (SPF Finance - Administration Générale de la Documentation Patrimoniale AGDP). Une parcelle cadastrale englobe les constructions, annexes, dépendances, accès et jardins qui lui sont contigus mais à condition que l’ensemble forme un tout indissociable et soit affecté au même usage (SPF Finance, 2014). Pour chaque parcelle cadastrale, sont entre autres disponibles la superficie et la nature cadastrale. Celle-ci correspond à la destination principale de la parcelle lors de son dernier enregistrement cadastral (ex: maison, ferme, commerce, etc.). En 2008, une nomenclature d’utilisation du sol a été développée sur base d’une réflexion conjointe par la Conférence Permanente du Développement Territorial (CPDT), le SPW Environnement et l’IWEPS. Les natures cadastrales ont été regroupées en 16 catégories d’utilisation du sol. Ces 16 catégories peuvent se regrouper et permettre de distinguer les terrains artificialisés des terrains non artificialisés. Ce travail de regroupement des parcelles se base sur les travaux du projet européen CORINE Land Cover (CLC) afin de faciliter les comparaisons avec d’autres régions européennes. De kadastrale gegevens zijn niet volledig. En 2021, 5,2% du territoire wallon est non cadastré et/ou de nature inconnue. Les superficies non cadastrées font partie de l’espace public (routes, places, voies de chemin de fer, fleuves et canaux, etc.) Ces superficies de nature inconnue ne sont pas réparties de manière homogène sur le territoire wallon. La part de superficie de nature inconnue varie de 2% (communes plus étendues ou rurales) à plus de 20% (Liège et Visé). Le Sillon Sambre-et-Meuse regroupe une grande partie de cette superficie. De door IWEPS voor Wallonië gebruikte gegevens over landgebruik en landbezetting zijn afkomstig van het Belgische kadaster (FOD Financiën). Een kadastraal perceel omvat de gebouwen, bijgebouwen, toegangen en tuinen die eraan grenzen, mits het geheel een ondeelbaar geheel vormt en dezelfde bestemming heeft (SPF Finance, 2014). Voor elk kadastraal perceel zijn de oppervlakte en de kadastrale aard beschikbaar. Dit laatste komt overeen met de hoofdbestemming van het perceel ten tijde van de laatste kadastrale registratie (bijv. huis, boerderij, bedrijf, enz.). In 2008 is een nomenclatuur voor landgebruik ontwikkeld op basis van een gezamenlijk beraad van de Permanente Conferentie over Territoriale Ontwikkeling, de SPW Environnement en de IWEPS. De kadastrale aarden werden gegroepeerd in 16 categorieën van landgebruik. De 16 categorieën kunnen worden gegroepeerd om onderscheid te maken tussen ruimtebeslag en open ruimte. Deze groepering van percelen is gebaseerd op de werkzaamheden van het Europese project CORINE Land Cover (CLC), om vergelijkingen met andere Europese regio's te vergemakkelijken. De kadastrale gegevens zijn niet volledig. In 2021 is 5,2% van het Waalse grondgebied niet geregistreerd en/of van onbekende aard. De niet-geregistreerde gebieden maken deel uit van de openbare ruimte (wegen, pleinen, spoorwegen, rivieren en kanalen, ...). Deze oppervlakte van onbekende aard is niet homogeen verdeeld over het Waalse grondgebied. Het aandeel van de onbekende oppervlakte varieert van 2% (grotere of plattelandsgemeenten) tot meer dan 20% (Luik en Visé). De corridor Sambre-et-Meuse beslaat een groot deel van dit gebied. Die für Wallonien von IWEPS verwendeten Bodennutzungs- und Bodenbedeckungsdaten stammen aus dem belgischen Kataster (FÖD Finanzen – Generalverwaltung der Vermögensdokumentation - GVVD). Eine Katasterparzelle beinhaltet die Bauwerke, Nebengebäudes, zugehörige Gebiete, Zugänge und aneinanderstoßende Gärten, vorausgesetzt, dass das gesamte Gebiet ein untrennbar verbundenes Ganze bildet und dieselbe Bestimmung hat (FÖD Finanzen, 2014). Für jede Katasterparzelle sind u.a. die Oberfläche und die Katasterart verfügbar. Die Kataster gibt die Hauptbestimmung der Parzelle bei ihrer letzten Eintragung ins Kataster an (zum B. Haus, Bauernhaus, Geschäft, usw.). 2008 wurde eine Bodennutzungsnomenklatur nach einer gemeinsamer Betrachtung von der Konferenz für territoriale Entwicklung (CPDT), der ÖDW Umwelt und der IWEPS entwickelt. Die Katasterarten wurden in 16 Bodennutzungskategorien geordnet. Diese 16 Kategorien können zusammengestellt werden und dadurch können die in Anspruch genommenen Flächen von den nicht in Anspruch genommenen Flächen unterschieden werden. Diese Zusammenstellung der Parzellen beruht auf den Arbeiten des europäischen Projekts CORINE Land Cover (CLC), damit die Vergleiche mit anderen europäischen Regionen einfacher sind. Die Katasterdaten sind nicht vollständig. 2021 sind 5,2% des wallonischen Territoriums nicht im Kataster eingetragen und/oder von unbekannter Art. Die nicht im Kataster eingetragenen Flächen gehören zum öffentlichen Raum (Straßen, Plätze, Eisbahnlinien, Flüsse und Kanäle, usw.) Auf dem wallonischen Territorium sind diese Flächen von unbekannter Art nicht homogen aufgeteilt. Der Anteil der Fläche von unbekannter Art kann von 2% (mehr ausgedehnte oder ländliche Gemeindes) bis über 20% (Lüttich und Visé) gehen. Ein gröβer Teil dieser Oberfläche liegt im Sambre-Maas-Graben.
