(2) Nutrient concentrations (INSPIRE-compliant GML). This dataset is part of the 2018 Belgian submission for the Marine Strategy Framework Directive (MSFD) linked to descriptor 5, criterion 1. This dataset contains the nutrient concentrations (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, total nitrogen, phosphorus) measured on water samples taken in the Belgian Part of the North Sea (BPNS) between 2011 and 2016. The analysis of nutrients (Nitrogen and Phosphorus) is ensured by the national monitoring programme at ten sampling locations that are representative for the surrounding water masses. The surface of the area where the nutrient concentrations exceed the respective thresholds was calculated on the basis of the relationship with the winter salt content and a climatology of the spatial distribution of the salt content (see annex D5 of the Belgian MSFD report). The resulting maps give a good overview of nutrient concentrations in the Belgian zone. In order to take into account the coastal-sea gradient and to illustrate the temporal trends in detail, the concentrations were also evaluated in three different areas of the BPNS: the coastal zone, the territorial zone and the open-sea zone. The long-term trends of nutrient concentrations in the three zones were assessed statistically. Deze dataset maakt deel uit van de Belgische inzending voor de Kaderrichtlijn Mariene Strategie (KRMS) 2018, gekoppeld aan descriptor 5, criterium 1. Deze dataset bevat de nutriëntenconcentraties (ammoniak, nitraat, nitriet, totaal stikstof, fosfor) gemeten op watermonsters genomen in het Belgisch deel van de Noordzee (BDNZ) tussen 2011 en 2016. De analyse van nutriënten (stikstof en fosfor) wordt verzekerd door het nationale monitoringprogramma op tien bemonsteringslocaties die representatief zijn voor de omringende watermassa's. Het oppervlak van het gebied waar de nutriëntenconcentraties de respectievelijke drempels overschrijden, werd berekend op basis van de relatie met het winterzoutgehalte en een klimatologie van de ruimtelijke verdeling van het zoutgehalte (zie bijlage D5 van het Belgische KRM-rapport). De resulterende kaarten geven een goed overzicht van de nutriëntenconcentraties in de Belgische zone. Om rekening te houden met de gradiënt van de kust en de zee en om de temporele trends in detail te illustreren, werden de concentraties ook geëvalueerd in drie verschillende gebieden van het BDNZ: de kustzone, de territoriale zone en de open zeezone. De langetermijntendensen van nutriëntenconcentraties in de drie zones werden statistisch beoordeeld. Cet ensemble de données fait partie de la soumission belge de 2018 relative à la directive-cadre «stratégie pour le milieu marin» (DCSMM) associée au descripteur 5, critère 1. Cet ensemble de données contient les concentrations en éléments nutritifs (ammoniac, nitrate, nitrite, azote total, phosphore) mesurées sur des échantillons d'eau prélevés à la partie belge de la mer du Nord (BPNS) entre 2011 et 2016. L'analyse des éléments nutritifs (azote et phosphore) est assurée par le programme de surveillance national sur dix sites d'échantillonnage représentatifs des masses d'eau environnantes. La surface de la zone où les concentrations d'éléments nutritifs dépassent les seuils respectifs a été calculée sur la base de la relation entre la teneur en sel de l'hiver et une climatologie de la distribution spatiale de la teneur en sel (voir annexe D5 du rapport de la DCSMM belge). Les cartes qui en résultent donnent un bon aperçu des concentrations de nutriments dans la zone belge. Afin de prendre en compte le gradient côtier-mer et d'illustrer en détail les tendances temporelles, les concentrations ont également été évaluées dans trois zones différentes du BPNS: la zone côtière, la zone territoriale et la zone de haute mer. Dieser Datensatz enthält die Nährstoffkonzentrationen (Ammoniak, Nitrat, Nitrit, Gesamtstickstoff, Phosphor), die anhand von Wasserproben gemessen wurden Der belgische Teil der Nordsee (BPNS) zwischen 2011 und 2016. Die Analyse der Nährstoffe (Stickstoff und Phosphor) wird durch das nationale Überwachungsprogramm an zehn Probenahmestellen sichergestellt, die repräsentativ für die umgebenden Wassermassen sind.
