The 6 layers concern 6 distinct themes: Imperviousness, Tree cover density, Forest type, Permanent grasslands, Wetlands and Permanent waterbodies. The 6 layers were produced by an automatic classification based on satellite images and collateral data and achieved by private companies (EEA service providers), and they were verified and enhanced by Belgium. At the Belgian level, verification and enhancements were made by AGIV for the northern part and SPW for the southern part. The NGI coordinated the project. Le produit est composé de 6 "high resolution layers" couvrant le territoire belge dans le cadre d'une couverture pan-Européenne. Les 6 couchent concernent 6 thèmes différents: Surfaces imperméables, Couverture forestière, Types de forêts, Hydrographie Zones humides, Prairies permanentes. Les 6 couches ont été produites par classification automatique à partir d'images satellites et de données collatérales par des sociétés privées (Service providers de l'EEA) et ont été vérifiées et adaptées par la Belgique. Au niveau belge, les vérifications et améliorations ont été réalisées par l'AGIV pour le nord et le SPW pour le sud. L'IGN a coordonné le projet. Het product bestaat uit 6 "high resolution layers", die het Belgische grondgebied overdekken in het kader van een pan-Europese overdekking. De 6 lagen hebben betrekking op 6 verschillende thema's: Ondoordringbare oppervlakken, Bosbedekking, Types wouden, Permanente hydrografie, Vochtige zones, Permanente weiden. De 6 lagen werden geproduceerd via automatische classificatie op basis van satellietbeelden en aanvullende gegevens van privéfirma's (Service providers van het EEA). Ze werden nagezien en aangepast door België. Op Belgisch niveau gebeurden het nazicht en de verbeteringen door het AGIV voor het Noorden en door de SPW voor het zuiden. Het NGI heeft het project gecoördineerd. + lijst met de rasters. Dieser Produkt besteht aus 6 landesweiten "High Resolution Layers" als Bestandteil einer europaweiten Deckung. Die 6 Schichten betreffen 6 verschiedene Themen: wasserdichte Oberflächen, Waldbedeckung, Waldtype, Hydrographie, Feuchtgebiete, Dauergrünländer. Die 6 Schichten wurden durch automatische Klassifizierung auf Basis Satellitenbilder und Nebendaten von Privatbetrieben (Service-Providers der EUA) produziert und von Belgien nachgeprüft und angepast. Auf belgischem Niveau wurden die Nachprüfungen und Verbesserungen im Norden von AGIV und im Süden vom SPW verwirklicht. Das NGI hat das Projekt koordiniert.
