EuroGlobalMap 2022
EGM 2022.2 is a pan-European dataset containing basic geographic information at the scale 1:1 M covering 47 European countries and 9 administrative areas. The data is seamless and harmonised, and is produced by the EGM Project Coordinator (IGN France) in cooperation by the National Mapping Agencies of Europe. EuroGlobalMap contains five themes: Administrative Boundaries, Hydrography, Named Location, Settlement, Transportation.

- Description
- The main data sources of EGM are the EuroGeographics larger scale products EuroBoundaryMap and Euro-RegionalMap. The National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies of each of the participating countries are responsible for updating their national components in these products, using official sources. Since 2012, a new production process of EGM based on generalisation from EBM and ERM is progressively put into place. The generalisation process has now been completed for the four EGM main themes (Boundary, Hydrography, Transport network, Settlements).
